Dr. Gomez received his Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. He also completed 2 years of post-doctoral training in psychiatry with the University of Southern California, School of Pharmacy. Dr. Gomez primarily practices in outpatient health centers and specializes in substance use disorders and psychiatric medication management. Dr. Gomez also provides pharmacological consultative services to providers across Alameda County’s behavioral health systems of care and primary care systems. Dr. Gomez has research interest in the following areas: homeless health care, mental health care, opioid use disorders, geropsychiatry and street health services. When Dr. Gomez is not working you can find him volunteering at local animal shelters, playing softball, hiking and enjoying the outdoors.
